Trailblazers Primary Logo
The Utah Tech Trailblazers have a long and storied history that dates back to the late 19th century. The team’s primary logo has undergone several iterations, each representing an important milestone in its history. From humble beginnings as a small-town college football team to becoming one of the most successful collegiate programs in recent memory, every version of this iconic logo tells its unique story.
The original Utah Tech Trailblazers logo was created shortly after they first joined Division I athletics in 1933. It featured a shield with two crossed swords at its center and an orange “U” for “Utah” above it. This design was used until 1975, when it underwent some minor changes, such as adding more detail around the edges and changing up some colors, like replacing orange with red or blue, depending on which uniforms were being worn at any given time.
In 1997, another major redesign saw all references to swords removed from the shield, introducing new elements such as stars inside circles around both sides and bolder lettering for UTECH across its top half (UTECH standing for University Of Technology). This particular version would remain unchanged until 2013, when yet another update occurred, which included making all text appear much more prominent than before and giving everything within the design sharper angles instead of rounded ones like before – something still seen today!
Overall, these various updates throughout decades have served not only to keep up with ever-advancing technology but also show how far this program has come since its inception almost 100 years ago, from small-town roots into national prominence thanks mainly to their powerful brand identity represented by none other than their primary logo itself! So next time you see someone wearing apparel featuring this classic symbol, be sure to give them props because we wouldn't know what actual trailblazing looks like without them!
