Demons Primary Logo
It’s no secret that sports fans love a good logo. Whether it be their favorite team or an all-time classic, logos can evoke strong emotions and bring back memories of past seasons. For Northwestern State Demons fans, the primary logo is one such symbol that has existed for many years and remains a source of pride today.
The original version of the NSU Demons primary logo was first used in 1979 when the school joined NCAA Division I athletics to move from NAIA competition to NCAA Division I status. The design featured two interlocking “N” letters with a star inside them, which represented both Northwestern State University (NSU) and Demon Athletics, respectively. This initial design remained relatively unchanged until 2006, when it underwent minor alterations like adding more colors to make it look brighter while still maintaining its core elements intact – something that most die-hard NSU fans appreciate about this iconic emblem even today!
Over time, however, other versions have been introduced, including an updated version in 2012 featuring more vibrant colors along with additional details like flames surrounding each lettering element; plus another newer iteration released last year called “Demon Fire Logo," which incorporates red fire into the existing base design for added impact! All these different designs are now proudly displayed on various merchandise sold by official university stores, so you can also show your support whenever you want!
To sum up, NWSU's iconic Primary Logo has gone through several iterations over four decades but always managed to stay true to its roots - making sure every fan feels connected with their beloved alma mater no matter where they might be around the world today!
