Lions Wordmark Logo

The North Alabama Lions have a long and proud history, and their wordmark logo is no exception. The original logo was designed in the late 1950s by local artist Johnny Tucker. It featured an "N" for North Alabama, with a lion's head inside of it. This design has been tweaked over the years to reflect changes in technology and trends, but it still retains the classic look that makes it instantly recognizable as belonging to the North Alabama Lions.

Over time, several variations of this iconic logo have been used on merchandise such as hats, t-shirts, and other apparel items associated with the team’s branding efforts throughout its history. In 2020 however; they released an updated version that features a more modern take on their classic wordmark logo featuring bolder lines & colors while maintaining its traditional shape & structure from decades past
