Panthers Alternate Logo
The Prairie View A&M Panthers have a long and storied history in NCAA sports, and their alternate logo is no exception. The first iteration of the Panthers' alternate logo was introduced in 2006 as part of an effort to modernize the team's overall branding. This version featured a fierce-looking panther head with its mouth open wide, resembling that of a snarling predator ready to pounce on its prey. It also included two crossed swords beneath it - symbolizing strength and courage - along with the school's name written across them both in bold font.
Since then, Prairie View A&M has made several tweaks to its alternate logo over time while still maintaining its original look and feel. In 2012 they changed up the color scheme by introducing black into it; this gave it more depth than before while keeping true to the intimidating image they wanted to be associated with their brand identity at large. They also added some minor details such as stars around certain parts of lettering for extra flair which helped give this design an even more distinct visual appeal compared to other college logos out there today.
Overall, Prairie View A&M’s alternating Panther Logo serves not only as a representation of one of Texas’s oldest Historically Black Colleges but also stands out among all others due to how well crafted each detail is within it – from colors used down to small touches like stars around certain letters – making sure that everyone knows who these brave warriors are when stepping onto any field or court against them!
