Hatters Primary Logo
Since 1865, the Stetson Hatters have been a symbol of quality and style. From its humble beginnings as a small hat factory in Philadelphia to become one of the most recognizable brands in the world today, Stetson has come a long way. But what many may not know is that behind every iconic logo lies an interesting history—including that of their primary logo.
The original version of the Stetson Hatters’ primary logo was designed by John B. Stetson himself back in 1875 when he first established his company as “John B.Steton & Co., Hats and Caps” The design featured two crossed rifles with “STETSON HATTERS” written across them along with two five-pointed stars on either side – all set against an American flag background; representing patriotism and strength for his brand at that time. This design remained unchanged until 1910 when it underwent some minor changes such as replacing the American Flag background with black fabric, adding more detail to both rifles, and changing up the font for better readability.
In 1915, the same year John B died, the company decided to honor him by creating another new variation that included only one rifle instead of two; this version also had added details within each rifle part along with bolder lettering making it easier to read from far away distances. This particular iteration lasted till 1932 before being replaced again due primarily because they wanted something simpler yet still unique enough so people could easily recognize their brand wherever they saw it - thus leading us to our current day rendition which features just one simple silhouette image resembling those classic old western hats we all know so well today!
Overall while there have been several iterations over time – each new change made has helped shape what we now consider iconic about this beloved company's identity: Strength through tradition combined with modernity! So next time you see someone wearing or sporting any type of item featuring these logos remember how much work went into making them look like they do now - truly timeless pieces worth cherishing forever!
