Bengals Primary Logo
Idaho State Bengals have a long and proud history of sporting excellence, dating back to the early 1900s. The school’s primary logo has seen many iterations over the years, each representing different eras in Idaho State athletics.
The earliest version of the logo was created in 1920 and featured a Bengal tiger head with crossed swords behind it. This design remained relatively unchanged until 1960 when it was updated to include more modern elements such as an orange “V” shape around the tiger head and red stripes on either side of its face. In 1971, this version underwent another update which included adding black outlines around both sides of its face as well as additional detailing within them – resulting in what is now known today as Idaho State University's iconic Primary Logo!
Throughout these changes, one thing that remains constant is how much pride fans take in their beloved Bengal mascot; he stands for determination, strength & resilience - qualities that embody all members of our community here at ISU! We are proud to represent him through our official logos & look forward to continuing his legacy for generations to come!
