Aggies Alternate Logo
The Utah State Aggies have a long and storied history in college athletics, and their alternate logos are no exception. From the iconic “Aggies” script logo to more recent designs, the school has embraced its rich tradition of athletic excellence with several unique visual identities over the years.
In 1953, Utah State introduced its first-ever alternate logo: an illustration of a bulldog wearing an Aggie hat. The design was intended to represent both strength and loyalty—two traits that embody what it means to be an Aggie student-athlete. This classic design can still be seen on many items associated with USU Athletics today!
In 2004, Utah State unveiled another new look for its mascot: a muscular bulldog wearing sunglasses while holding up three fingers in celebration (a reference to the school's three NCAA Division I national championships). A modernized version of this logo is currently used as one of USU's primary marks across all sports teams' uniforms and merchandise collections.
In 2017, yet another redesign was released featuring two versions—one featuring just the head/face area; while another featured full body illustrations along with updated color schemes for each sport represented by USU athletics programs (football & basketball). These bolder designs were meant to better reflect how far UTAH STATE had come since its inception as well as show off some prideful swagger during competition against other schools from around the country!
As you can see throughout this brief history lesson about UTES ALTERNATE LOGOS HISTORY IN NCAA SPORTS - there has been quite a bit of change over time but one thing remains the same – they always have found ways to showcase their strong commitment to success through creative visuals which help differentiate them from rest collegiate landscape out there today!!
