The Northeast conference, also known as the NEC, was founded in 1981 and is home to 11 Division I universities located in the Northeastern United States. Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) - The CCSU Blue Devils have had a few logo changes since the school joined the NEC in 1997. The original logo featured a blue devil with a pitchfork and the letters "CCSU" in red. In 2004, the logo was updated to a more modern and fierce-looking blue devil with the addition of a basketball. The most recent logo, introduced in 2012, features a simplified blue devil head with the letters "CCSU" in a bold font. This logo is a perfect representation of the team's competitive spirit.
Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) - The FDU Knights have had a consistent logo since joining the NEC in 1988. The logo features a knight's helmet with the letters "FDU" in red and white.
