Trojans Alternate Logo

The Troy Trojans have a long and storied history in the NCAA, but their alternate logo is just as iconic. The school's first official logo was introduced in 1978 and featured a Trojan warrior with his sword held high. Since then, the university has gone through several iterations of its mascot to reflect its changing identity over time.

In 2000, Troy University unveiled an updated version of its original design featuring two crossed swords instead of one for added emphasis on athletics. This new look also incorporated more modern elements such as bolder colors and sharper lines to create a stronger visual impact than before.

In 2007, another iteration was released which included the addition of wings behind the warrior’s back symbolizing strength and power while still maintaining respect for tradition by keeping much of what made up earlier designs intact.

Most recently in 2017 yet another update was presented that brought forth even more changes including an entirely different helmet design along with brighter colors meant to represent energy and enthusiasm among students at Troy University Athletics events or games they attend or participate in throughout each season! While this latest version may be slightly different than previous ones it still captures many essential aspects from past logos making sure no part goes forgotten when celebrating all things Trojans!
