Golden Hurricane Alternate Logo
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane alternate logo history is a long and storied one. The original design was created in the 1940s and has gone through several iterations since then. This iconic logo has become an integral part of Tulsa's identity, appearing on everything from t-shirts to hats to banners at sporting events.
The first iteration of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane alternate logo featured a shield with two crossed swords behind it, representing strength and courage in battle. It also had three stars above it which represented truth, justice, and honor – values that have been associated with this school for many years now. In addition, there were four lightning bolts around the edges which symbolized speed and power both on offense as well as a defense during sports games or matches played by students or alumni of the University Of Tulsa (TU).
In recent years TU’s athletics department made some minor changes to its official logos but kept its core elements intact while adding more modern touches such as vibrant colors like black & gold along with updated font styles & designs that better reflect today’s trends among college teams nationwide including those within American Athletic Conference (AAC). Though each new version may slightly differ from its predecessor they all still carry the same meaning: strength & courage combined with truth justice honor - making them perfect representations of campus spirit!
