Trojans Primary Logo
The Troy Trojans are proud members of the NCAA and have a long history of success in collegiate athletics. The primary logo for the Trojans has gone through several iterations over time, but its core elements remain largely unchanged since it was first introduced in 1984.
The original design featured an interlocking “TT” with two curved lines extending from each side to create an oval shape, which is symbolic of strength and unity among teammates. This iconic symbol is still used today as part of the official Troy Trojans branding identity and can be seen on all team apparel, merchandise, websites, etc.
In 1997 there were some minor changes made to modernize the look while maintaining its traditional roots; this included adding red accents around both sides of the “TT” along with two additional white stars above it representing excellence within academics as well as athletics at Troy University. In 2008 another update was made that included dropping out one star but keeping everything else intact – this version has remained consistent ever since then until now!
Over time different variations have been created such as using different colors or changing up certain aspects like font size & style; however, none have been able to replace or overtake what many consider to be THE classic Trojan logo that stands for excellence across all levels at TROY University!
