Badgers Alternate Logo
Wisconsin Badgers' alternate logo history is an interesting topic that has been around for many years. The Wisconsin Badgers are a collegiate athletic team from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and have had several different logos over the years.
One of the earliest known alternate logos was created in 1966 when they introduced their famous “Bucky” logo featuring a cartoon badger wearing glasses and holding a book. This design quickly became popular with fans and remains one of their most recognizable symbols today. In 1976, another version was released which featured Bucky in front of an outline map of Wisconsin with the school's initials inside it; this design also gained popularity among fans but eventually faded away after some time as newer designs were developed by later generations at UW-Madison.
The most recent iteration came out in 2017 when they unveiled their new “Motion W” logo which features two overlapping Ws to represent motion or activity within athletics at UW-Madison – this particular version has become quite popular among students, alumni, and supporters alike since its release! Overall it seems like every generation brings something new to the table when it comes to designing alternate logos for teams like these so there will likely be plenty more exciting changes coming our way soon enough!
