Eagles Wordmark Logo

The Eastern Washington Eagles have been a part of the NCAA since 1982 and their iconic wordmark logo has become synonymous with the university. The current version of the logo was designed in 2003, but there have been several iterations over its long history.

The original design featured an eagle head surrounded by a shield shape and two stars on either side. This design was used from 1983 to 1996 before being replaced by an updated version featuring more detail in both the wings and feathers of the eagle’s head as well as adding some texture to give it more depth.
