Lions Alternate Logo
The North Alabama Lions have a long and storied history of excellence in athletics, and their alternate logos are no exception. Since the school's inception in 1949, the Lions have introduced several new logos over time to represent its unique spirit. From classic designs that honor traditional values to modern updates that reflect current trends, each logo has played an important role in creating a recognizable brand for UNA Athletics.
In 1979, the first official logo was unveiled with two lions facing off against one another on either side of an orange shield with black trim around it. This design was used until 1992 when it was replaced by a more contemporary look featuring two lion heads facing outward from within a blue circle outlined by white stars and stripes – paying homage to both American patriotism as well as UNA’s own mascot identity at once!
From there came even more changes throughout the years including adding additional elements such as flames or changing up colors like yellow or purple instead of blue for added variety (and fun!). The most recent update occurred just last year when they released yet another version that featured three different colored lions inside of an oval-shaped frame along with some updated text accompanying them – all while still keeping true to their original branding message: “Pride & Honor”!
While these various iterations may seem minor on paper, they play an important part in helping distinguish North Alabama Athletics from other schools across college sports today - making sure everyone knows exactly who they're rooting for come game day! So whether you prefer old-school classics or modern takes on beloved symbols alike; be sure to show your support this season by sporting one (or all) of these amazing designs proudly wherever you go… Go Lions!!
