Utes Primary Logo
The University of Utah Utes has a long and storied history that is reflected in its primary logo. The first iteration of the logo was created in 1931 when the school colors were changed from black and gold to crimson red and white. This version featured an interlocking "U" design with a circle around it, which has been used as the official logo for over 80 years.
In 2003, the university decided to update its look by introducing a new primary logo - one that still utilized elements from its predecessor but also incorporated more modern elements such as shading and texture. The result was an updated version of their iconic "U", featuring bolder lines with sharper edges that better represented their athletic prowess on both collegiate fields and professional arenas alike.
Today's Ute fans can proudly display this latest rendition on apparel or other merchandise while staying true to tradition at heart; after all these years, they are still proud members of Team Red & White! Whether cheering them on during the game day or simply showing off your pride throughout everyday life, there's no denying how much love goes into supporting this beloved team - something evidenced through every single iteration of their timeless logos over time!
