Pirates Alternate Logo

The Seton Hall Pirates have a long and storied history with their logo. The original design was created in the late 1950s when the school's athletic program was just beginning to take shape. It featured a pirate ship sailing across an ocean of blue, which has since become iconic for the university. Over time, there have been several changes made to this classic design as well as some alternate logos that were used at various points throughout its existence.

One of these alternate designs is known simply as "SHU" or "Seton Hall University." This logo features two large letters intertwined together - 'S' and 'H.' This version of the logo has been around since 1987 and is still used today by many students on campus who proudly wear apparel featuring it prominently displayed on their clothing items such as t-shirts or hats.

Finally, another popular alternative logo for Seton Hall Pirates is known simply as “Pirate Pete” which consists of a cartoonish-looking pirate with his arms crossed over his chest wearing an eye patch, and sporting a tricorn hat atop his head—all while standing against an orange background complete with waves crashing onto shore beneath him! While this particular variant may not be seen quite often nowadays due to its somewhat dated look compared to more modern interpretations; it remains one that many alumni fondly remember from their days attending SHU back in past decades!
