Throughout the years, the South Carolina Gamecocks have used as their alternate logos the interlocking initials "SC" along with the classic gamecock logo.

Interlocking initials “SC” in red with black trim. The initials “SC” represent the state of South Carolina.
The top serif of the “S” is now underneath the “C” below.
