Wolf Pack Alternate Logo

The Nevada Wolf Pack is one of the most recognizable college sports teams in the NCAA. With its fierce wolf mascot and iconic logo, it’s no wonder why so many people are drawn to this team. But what some may not know is that there have been several alternate logos for the Wolf Pack over its history.

The first alternate logo was introduced in 2004 when Nevada changed their official colors from silver and blue to navy and silver with a hint of red added for accentuating purposes. This new look featured an aggressive-looking wolf head with sharp teeth bared, surrounded by a circular shape containing “Nevada” written above it in bold letters along with four stars representing each corner of the state flag below it as well as two paw prints at either side completing this unique design. The second version was released two years later which included minor changes like making parts of the circle thicker or thinner while also adding small details such as claws coming out from behind both paws on either side which gave off more power than before; however, these alterations were barely noticeable upon first glance due to how subtle they were compared to other aspects within this particular design choice overall.

In 2011 another update came about that saw even more modifications being made including reshaping certain elements such as shortening/lengthening lines around edges, changing size & directionality for eyes & mouth, and adding fur detail across the entire surface; all these combined together created an entirely new yet still familiar look. Finally, lastly, we had our current iteration come into play in 2014 where things got much simpler: gone were any intricate patterns/shapes - instead replaced by a solid black outline encasing the whole figure plus a few white highlights bring attention to specific areas (i.e.- eyes). All said and done you can see a clear progression between various designs throughout the years showing the evolution story itself has taken since inception back 2004 up until the present day!
