Bulls Alternate Logo

The University of South Florida Bulls has a long and storied history when it comes to their alternate logos. The first logo was unveiled in 1997 and featured the iconic bull head with red “USF” lettering above it. This logo has been used on various merchandise since its introduction, including apparel, hats, mugs, and more. Over the years there have been several other designs that were used as alternate logos for USF Athletics teams or special occasions such as Homecoming or Bowl Games.

In 2010 USF introduced an updated version of its original logo which included a black outline around the bullhead instead of just being white on red like before. They also changed up some details such as adding horns to make it look more aggressive while still keeping true to its roots with classic design elements like stars surrounding the wordmark below it alluding back to USFs star-spangled flag tradition from when they first became an official NCAA Division I school in 1995.

Today this new version is widely accepted by fans across Tampa Bay area schools but many alumni are still fondly remembering past versions that may not be seen anymore due to changes over time but will always remain part of South Florida's rich sporting culture no matter what form they take now or into future generations ahead!
