Bearcats Alternate Logo

Binghamton Bearcats fans, rejoice! The school recently announced a new alternate logo to commemorate the team’s history and success. Look back at the Binghamton Bearcats alternate logo history and see how far we have come.

The first iteration of the Binghamton Bearcat's alternate logo was unveiled in 2014 when they joined the America East Conference as full members. It featured an orange bear head with blue accents on its eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, and white lettering for “BINGHAMTON BEARCATS” underneath it. This design remained until 2019, when it was replaced by another version featuring an updated bear head in profile view that had more detail to its fur texture while still keeping true to the original colors from before (orange/blue/white).

In 2020, however, something changed again as this time around, there were two different logos released: one being a traditional-style shield shape bearing three stars above their name while below them is an abstracted image of their mascot - now sporting red eyes instead of blue ones like before - all within a navy circle background. Another version also looks similar but has no stars or navy circle surrounding everything else inside it, just plain text reading “BEARCATS BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY." Both designs represent strength through unity, which makes sense given how much support each program receives from alumni & fans alike throughout any season, regardless of whether they win or lose games on the field during regular season playtime periods.

All these changes over the years show us that even though our beloved team may not always be at the top spot standings-wise across various sports leagues out there – we can still proudly stand behind them, knowing that they will continue striving towards excellence both athletically & academically speaking so long into the future ahead!
