Wildcats Alternate Logo
The Kansas State Wildcats are a proud college football team with an impressive history. As such, they have had several alternate logos over the years that reflect their school spirit and pride. In this essay, we will take a look at the history of Kansas State's alternate logo designs throughout its long-standing tradition in collegiate sports.
The first iteration of the Wildcats' alternate logo was introduced in 1986 when it became part of their official brand identity for athletic teams across all sports programs. The design featured a snarling wildcat set against an outline of the state’s iconic sunflower shape, surrounded by “KANSAS STATE WILDCATS” written along its perimeter – making it one of the most recognizable symbols associated with KSU Athletics to date!
In 2014, Kansas State unveiled another new version for use on apparel and other merchandise related to athletics: A fierce Wildcat head outlined within two interlocking circles featuring blue lettering spelling out “KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY” above them both – creating yet another powerful symbol representing KSU pride! This particular design has been used ever since as one-way fans can show off their loyalty towards this beloved program while also paying homage to its rich past through these memorable logos.
Overall, there is no denying that each successive generation brings something unique and special to any organization or institution - including those associated with collegiate athletics like our beloved Kansas State Wildcats! Through thoughtful evolution over time (such as changes made to various versions of our wildcat mascot), we can continue honoring our traditions while still finding ways to innovate so future generations may enjoy them just as much if not more than those before us did!
