Rattlers Alternate Logo
The Florida A&M Rattlers are one of the most storied teams in college sports, and their alternate logo history is no exception. The school's first alternate logo was unveiled in 1969 when they adopted a crest featuring an orange rattlesnake with its tail curled around the "FAMU" letters. This design has been used on and off ever since, but it wasn't until 1995 that a second alternative mark was introduced to represent the team. It featured two crossed tomahawks above an orange shield with "Rattlers" written across it in white lettering; this symbol quickly became popular among fans and players alike for its boldness and strength.
In 2015, Florida A&M released yet another new look: a sleek black-and-white version of their original crest featuring just the snake coiled around FAMU’s initials without any additional elements or text added to it. This simple yet powerful image has become synonymous with Rattler pride over time as well as being recognized by NCAA officials for official use during games or other events associated with them such as tournaments or championships. As if that weren’t enough though, just last year FAMU also debuted their newest addition to their logos—a fierce rattlesnake head set against an all-black background that uses both traditional colors from past designs along modern lines making sure everyone knows who they're dealing with when facing off against this formidable opponent!
Overall then there's no denying that through each iteration of its logos throughout history - from classic crests like those seen back in '69 up through today's modern take on tradition –the Florida A&M Rattlers have always made sure that whoever comes into contact with them knows exactly what kind of force they're going up against every time out!
