Demons Alternate Logo

College sports fans are always looking for ways to show their support and pride in the teams they love. For those who follow Northwestern State Demons, one of the most popular ways to do this is through logos. The team has had several alternate logos throughout its history, and each one has been an excellent way for fans to express their fandom.

The first logo was introduced in 2014 when the school officially joined NCAA Division I athletics. This logo featured a demon head with an angry expression on it that was set against a black background with white lettering spelling out “Northwestern State” above it. It quickly became an iconic symbol of Demon pride among students and alumni!

In 2017, Northwestern State unveiled its second alternate logo, which features two interlocking N's inside of a shield shape surrounded by flames – representing power and strength within our community and loyalty towards our team colors (purple & orange). Fans were quick to embrace this new design as another way they could show off their Demon spirit!

In 2020, we saw yet another change when NSU released its third alternate logo featuring an updated version of that same demonic head from before. However, we are now encircled by flames while maintaining the original font style used in previous designs, making it perfect for any fan looking for something unique yet familiar at once!
