Dolphins Alternate Logo
The Jacksonville Dolphins have a long and storied history that dates back to the early 1960s. Throughout their time, they have had several different logos and alternate logos that represent the team’s spirit and identity. Let's take a look at some of the most notable alternate logo designs throughout Jacksonville Dolphins' history!
One of the earliest known alternative logos for The Jacksonville Dolphins was created in 1964 by graphic designer Robert Lory. This design featured an orange dolphin leaping out from waves with its fin held high above its head, which symbolized strength and determination – two traits associated with this team since its inception.
In 1985, another iconic logo was introduced featuring an updated version of Robert Lory’s original design but with more detail added to it such as shading around fins, eyes, and mouth giving it a more realistic appearance than before. This particular image has become synonymous with The Jaguars ever since!
In 1996 yet another new logo was unveiled which featured two dolphins swimming side-by-side through blue ocean waves while holding up what appears to be either a football or basketball in their mouths; this one is believed to represent unity among players on both teams (football & basketball). Finally, we come full circle back in 2004 when they adopted yet another variation on Robert Lory’s original design but instead featuring three dolphins jumping out from white watery depths below them - alluding once again towards strength & determination just like when first started off way back then!
All these different variations over years truly show how much thought went into creating each one based on previous iterations while still keeping the true essence alive within each individual piece itself - making sure no matter what changes happen down the line future generations will always know where came from originally: strong determined spirit embodied within every member organization today!
