Jaguars Alternate Logo

The IUPUI Jaguars are one of the most storied teams in college sports, and they have a long history with their alternate logo. The first version was introduced in 1994 as part of the school’s rebranding to reflect its status as an urban university. This logo featured a jaguar head surrounded by flames and set against a black background. It quickly became popular among fans, who saw it as representing strength and power for their team on the field.

In 2000, another alternate logo was unveiled featuring an updated look for the jaguar head but keeping with its original design concept of strength and power that was so beloved by fans from before. This time around, however, there were some subtle changes made, such as adding additional shading to create more depth than what had been seen before, along with making sure that all elements within this new design worked together harmoniously to make up one solid image- something which wasn’t always possible when dealing with previous versions due to limited space constraints or other factors at play during those times.

As we move into 2021, IUPUI has decided to update its iconic mascot's appearance again while maintaining much of what makes him unique - his fiery spirit! They've done this by introducing yet another revised version; now, instead, featuring two different shades (one being gold) surrounding his face & body alongside having him positioned atop a circular shield bearing both Indiana University & Purdue University logos, respectively, inside it - creating something truly unique & eye-catching!

Overall, then, no matter which iteration you prefer out of these three distinct designs over time, you can be sure that each is representative not only of great pride amongst current students/alumni alike but also of the incredible courage/determination needed to succeed both academically and athletically here at IUPUI moving forward!
