Bluejays Alternate Logo

The Creighton Bluejays have had a long and storied history with their alternate logos. The first logo to be used as the "Bluejay" was in 1928, which featured a blue jay bird perched on top of an oval shield. This logo was used until 1969 when the university adopted its current primary logo featuring two interlocking C's and the school name written out underneath it. However, over time they have also developed several other logos that are still widely recognized today.

One of these is the “C-Jay” from 1994 which features a stylized letter C with wings spread wide like those of a blue jay bird in flight. This design has been seen on various merchandise such as t-shirts and hats ever since it was introduced almost 25 years ago, making it one of Creighton's most recognizable symbols even to this day! Another popular alternate logo is known as "Jays Up," which shows two hands forming into fists while giving off an intimidating vibe - perfect for showing your support for your favorite team during any sporting event or matchup!

Finally, there's also another more recent addition: The “Flock” crest from 2019 which displays five birds flying together above some clouds against a navy blue background – representing unity among fans while providing an overall modern look that will surely stand out at any game you attend! All three designs are unique in their own way but all share one thing: They show how far Creighton University has come since its inception back in 1878 - proving why they continue to remain so beloved by many people around Nebraska and beyond!
