This update also saw bolder lines being used throughout and helped make way for even more updates over time—including adding color! Nowadays you can find versions featuring both red and blue alongside white text on various merchandise items like t-shirts or hats bearing this timeless symbol representing EKU pride everywhere you go!

Overall since its inception nearly 100 years ago today ––the Eastern Kentucky Colonels wordmark has been through many iterations but one thing remains constant: Its unmistakable spirit lives on forever within those four letters spelling out COLONELS across all corners of campus life!
