Bulldogs Wordmark Logo
The Alabama A&M Bulldogs wordmark logo has been a part of the school’s identity since its inception. The original logo was designed in 1978 and featured a large letter “A” with an aggressive bulldog head inside it. This design was meant to represent the strength and determination of the student-athletes at Alabama A&M University. Over time, this iconic symbol has become synonymous with excellence in athletics and academics throughout the South.
In 2009, after almost 30 years of use, Alabama A&M decided to update its Bulldog wordmark logo for modern times while still maintaining its traditional look and feel. The updated version features a more contemporary font style as well as bolder colors that better reflect school spirit on game day or any other occasion when wearing apparel from Alabama A&M University is appropriate attire!
Today, regardless if you are attending an athletic event or simply showing your support for one of America's most prestigious universities - you can always spot someone proudly sporting some form of clothing featuring either version (or both) versions off this timeless mark! It is no surprise why so many students have grown attached to such an important piece within their university's history - making it not only something they wear but also something they believe in!
