Bulls Wordmark Logo

The Buffalo Bulls are one of the most storied programs in college sports, and their wordmark logo has been a part of that history for many years. The current version was first introduced in 2003 and is used on all official material related to the team. It features a bold lettering style with two large bulls facing each other at either side of the ‘B’ symbolizing strength, power, and unity within the program.

The original logo dates back to 1967 when it featured only one bull head with an angular font typeface around it. This design was used up until 1998 when a new look debuted featuring two bulls' heads set against an orange background representing both strength and school pride as well as paying homage to their mascot Victor E Bull (Vic). In 1999 there were further updates made including more stylized fonts along with additional colors such as black which helped give it its modern appearance today.

In addition to its use by Buffalo Bulls athletics teams, this iconic wordmark also appears on merchandise sold through various outlets such as retail stores or online shops associated with NCAA Division I universities across America – making it easily recognizable among fans not just from University at Buffalo but those who follow collegiate sports nationwide!
