The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Roos has a long and storied history, stretching back to the 1930s. From their first iteration as the Kansas City Junior College Bluejays in 1933 to their current moniker as UMKC Roos, this team has had many logos over the years. This symbolizes not only athletic pride but also academic excellence! Finally, another variation on this theme is “UMKC Athletics,” which uses similar colors but features just two stars beneath text reading “Athletics” rather than three branches like before - making it more general purpose than the previous versions mentioned today!
