Titans Wordmark Logo

For decades, Cal State Fullerton Titans have proudly represented their school with a recognizable and iconic logo. The school's wordmark logo has been around since the 1960s when it was first adopted by the athletic department for use on uniforms and other merchandise. Over the years, this classic design has evolved to reflect changing times while still maintaining its original spirit of strength and pride.

The original Cal State Fullerton Titans wordmark consisted of bold black lettering set against an orange background – a combination that perfectly encapsulated both the strength and vibrancy associated with CSUF athletics teams. In 1998, however, this classic look underwent several changes in order to better represent modern-day Titan fans: The “Titans” text was replaced by an updated font; two stars were added above “Fullerton”; white trim along each side of the words gave them greater definition; finally – most notably – a new symbol appeared at center: A fierce lion head wearing a crown atop crossed swords which served as both shield & sword for our beloved team! This revised version remains today as one of college sports' most recognized logos - seen everywhere from collegiate apparel stores to national television broadcasts!

As time goes on we can expect more refinements & updates but no matter what happens one thing is certain: CSUF will always be a proud home to those who wear its colors! Go, Titans!!
