Titans Primary Logo

For more than 50 years, the Cal State Fullerton Titans have proudly represented their school and community with a powerful logo. From its humble beginnings as a simple interlocking “CSF” to its current incarnation, this iconic symbol has become synonymous with Titan pride. Let’s take a look at the history of the primary logo for Cal State Fullerton Titans!

The original CSF logo was created in 1967 when California State College (now known as California State University) adopted it from an existing design used by San Diego High School. The mark featured two intertwined letters – C and F – which stood for “California State College-Fullerton” or simply “CSF." This early version of the emblem was used by both athletic teams and student organizations until 1996 when it underwent some major changes.

In 1996, CSU Fullerton unveiled an updated version of their primary logo that incorporated elements from both previous incarnations: two intertwining letters within a shield shape surrounded by stars on either side to represent excellence in academics and athletics alike. This new mark also included several shades of orange representing strength & vitality while blue served as an accent color to illustrate loyalty & spirit among students, faculty & staff members alike. Additionally, small white outlines were added around each lettering element giving them greater depth. In 2006, minor adjustments were made such as making all colors brighter along with adding additional shading effects throughout the entire design.

Today, this classic yet modernized representation is still widely recognized across campus grounds today - serving not only athletes but also alumni who have graduated over the past decades! It's truly amazing how much our beloved icon has evolved since 1967 - proving that no matter what challenges come our way we will always remain true to ourselves while striving toward greatness!
