Bonnies Primary Logo

The St. Bonaventure Bonnies have a long and storied history, dating back to their founding in 1858. Throughout the years, the school has gone through several logo changes, each one representing an important part of its story. Today we’re taking a look at the primary logos that have been used by St. Bonaventure throughout its more than 150-year history!

The earliest logo used by St. Bonaventure was created in 1946 and featured a simple B with wings on either side – this is still seen today as part of their official seal but was not widely adopted as their main logo until much later on down the line! The next major change came about in 1969 when they switched from using just one letter to two: SB for “StBon” or “StBonnie” depending on how you wanted to interpret it; this design stayed relatively consistent until 2006 when they added some additional details like stars around the edges and flipped orientation so that now it reads left-to-right instead of right-to-left (which had been standard since 1969).

In 2011 there were further updates made which included adding depth/dimensionality along with changing up colors slightly; these are what most people would recognize nowadays if asked about SBU's primary emblematic mark - though there were minor tweaks done again last year (2020) such as making sure all letters lined up perfectly within each other & adjusting size ratio between them accordingly so everything looks neat & uniformed across different mediums where it may appear (eSports jerseys etc.). Finally, while not technically considered part of any 'official' branding efforts - many fans also sport shirts featuring various iterations including "SB" written out entirely or even just having an outline shape without any text at all...allowing those who show support for team spirit while still remaining stylishly unique!
