Tigers Primary Logo
The Auburn Tigers have a long and storied history, dating back to their first logo in the early 1900s. The original logo was a simple orange 'A' on an orange background. This design remained relatively unchanged until the 1950s when it began to evolve into what we know today as the iconic tiger head with its distinctive stripes and menacing eyes.
In 1953, an artist named Don Domescik created what is now known as the “classic” Auburn Tiger logo. It featured a snarling tiger head with bright yellow-orange stripes against an orange background outlined in navy blue lettering that read: "Auburn University". Since then, this classic design has been used by many different organizations associated with Auburn Athletics including shirts, hats, banners, and more!
Today's version of the primary Auburn Tigers Logo still features Domescik's classic design but has evolved slightly over time due to technological advances such as vector graphics which allow for higher-resolution images that can be reproduced at any size without losing quality or detail. Additionally, modern updates include subtle changes like adding white highlights around certain parts of the image for increased visual impact or changing from block letters to script font text beneath it – all while keeping true to its roots by maintaining much of its original look intact since 1953!
