Falcons Primary Logo
The Air Force Falcons have had a long and storied history in the NCAA, and their primary logo has been an iconic part of that. The current version of the logo was introduced in 2001, but it has its roots in earlier designs dating back to 1958.
The original design featured a stylized falcon head with wings outstretched on either side. This simple yet powerful image quickly became associated with the team’s identity and is still used today as one of their most recognizable logos. Over time, minor changes were made to refine the design such as making adjustments to proportions or adding additional colors for emphasis.
In 2001, however, a major overhaul was undertaken which gave us what we see today - an aggressive-looking falcon headset against two crossed swords representing strength and courage; all surrounded by a blue circle bearing “Air Force” at its center point above “FALCONS” written along its circumference below it. This new look perfectly encapsulated everything that makes up Air Force spirit while also giving them something unique from other teams within NCAA sports leagues - especially when combined with their signature silver-grey uniforms!
In addition to being instantly recognizable on fields across America (as well as internationally), this strong visual representation serves another purpose: It allows alumni around the world who proudly served our country through military service to feel connected to each other even if they are no longer physically together – creating feelings nostalgia every time they spot this symbol!
So whether you're cheering them on from home or attending games live at Falcon Stadium – make sure you show your support for these brave men & women by wearing your favorite piece(s) featuring the official Air Force Falcons Primary Logo…because nothing says pride like honoring those who serve our great nation!
