Golden Eagles Primary Logo
The Marquette Golden Eagles have a long and proud history that is encapsulated in the logo they use today. The primary logo of the team has gone through many changes over its lifetime, but it remains an iconic symbol for fans of all ages.
The first iteration of the Golden Eagle’s primary logo was introduced in 1978 when they were known as the Warriors. This design featured a blue circle with an orange eagle inside and “Marquette” written around it in white letters. This remained their official look until 1993 when a new version was released featuring two eagles facing each other instead of one single bird.
In 2003, another change to their primary logo occurred; this time featuring three feathers behind one central eagle head with “MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS” written across it horizontally below. Over time small changes have been made to this design such as color variations or minor adjustments to better represent modern times while still keeping true to its original intent: representing both pride and excellence on behalf of the Marquette University Athletics program throughout generations past and present alike!
