Seahawks Wordmark Logo

The Seattle Seahawks have been a part of the National Football League since 1976, and their logo has undergone several changes. The original logo featured an orange-and-blue shield with two white wings on either side, which was meant to symbolize strength and power. In 2002, the team adopted a new look featuring a blue hawk head with an orange beak in front of three white feathers. This design was intended to represent courage, determination, and freedom as well as honor Native American cultures that are found throughout Washington state.

In 2012, the team unveiled its current wordmark logo, which features “Seahawks” written across in bold navy blue font outlined by lime green trimming along each letter's edge. The use of these colors is significant because they both appear prominently in Seattle’s landscape: Blue for Lake Washington; Green for Puget Sound; White for snowcapped mountains; Orange representing Mount Rainier's golden hues at sunset or sunrise - all symbols that make up this beautiful city we call home!

Finally, beneath this wordmark lies another critical element: A trident made out of five stars representing each member within our organization who works tirelessly every day to bring us success on and off the field – from players & coaches down to staff members alike! Together they form one unified unit striving towards excellence no matter what obstacles come their way – something we can all take inspiration from when it comes time to turn dreams into reality ourselves!
