The Dallas Cowboys star logo is a representative of Texas as "The Lone Star State," and is one of the best-known team logos in professional sports. The star is a motif of peace and serenity. The team’s success throughout its history has given the logo more poignancy as it has become a symbol of its success. The blue color in the Dallas Cowboys logo depicts the calm and composed approach of the team, as well as its extraordinary sportsmanship, excellence, and grace.
The franchise has not deviated from its “blue star” logo at all throughout its franchise history. In the first three years of its existence, the franchise’s blue star existed with no outline. Throughout the rest of its existence, the franchise has had a white and navy blue outline around the blue star.

1964 - Present
Jack Eskridge, one of coach Tom Landry’s first hires, redesigned the solid blue logo in 1964 by adding a white border around the blue star, giving it a 3D-effect. It has stood ever since. The updated logo consists of navy blue star with white and navy blue outlines.
