Jets Alternate Logo
The New York Jets are one of the most iconic teams in professional sports. With a long and storied history, they have had some memorable logos over the years. One of their more recent alternate logos has become quite popular among fans due to its modern design and unique colors.
The logo was unveiled in 2019 as part of an effort to update the team’s branding for a new generation of fans. The primary feature is an outline version of their classic helmet logo with two white stripes running through it, representing both wings on either side that were featured on early versions of their original logo from 1960-62 when they were known as the Titans before becoming the Jets in 1963. In addition, there is also a navy blue circle around it with “NEW YORK JETS” written inside, along with four stars at each corner representing each Super Bowl appearance by them (1968 & 1969).
Overall this alternate logo has been well received by Jet's fans, who appreciate its modern look while still paying homage to previous iterations throughout franchise history, not just aesthetically but symbolically too since those two white stripes serve as reminders about where this organization came from and how far it has come since then!
