Texans Primary Logo
The Houston Texans have had a long and successful history in the National Football League. Since its inception in 2002, they have been one of the most recognizable teams in the league due to its unique logo and colors. The primary logo for the team has gone through several iterations over time, but it has always represented an important part of what makes up this franchise.
The original primary logo was designed by artist Robert Huntzinger when he was commissioned to create something that would represent both Texas pride as well as football excellence within a single design. His design featured an outline of Texas with two stars inside representing Houston’s status as both “the Lone Star State” and “the Space City". This symbolized how far away from other NFL franchises Houston is located while also highlighting its own unique identity within professional sports culture at large. Additionally, there were five red horseshoes around this image which served not only to give off a western vibe but also signify good luck for those who supported them on game day or any other occasion where they may need some extra luck along with them!
In 2014, after twelve years of using the same primary logo since their inaugural season back in 2002; The Texans decided it was time for something new: A more modern look that would better reflect what kind of team they wanted to be going forward into the future seasons ahead - one that embodied strength & resilience no matter what challenges might come it is a way! They chose designer Todd Radom's "Bull" concept which features three bull horns forming an iconic shape against a bright blue background; signifying power & determination all wrapped up into one powerful visual statement about who exactly these players are every Sunday when taking the field against opponents across America!

2006 - Present
McNair unveiled the team logo in 2006, an abstract depiction of a bull’s head, split in such a way to resemble the flag of Texas in red white and blue, including a lone star to stand for the eye, the five points of the star which representing pride, courage, strength, tradition and independence.
