Texans Primary Logo
Given that the Houston Texans were established in 2002, they are still one of the youngest franchises in the NFL today. They’ve made six playoff appearances in franchise history. They’ve managed to win the division each time in all those years.
Many great players have played for the Houston Texans throughout their history. These players include J.J Watt, Andre Johnson, Arian Foster, and DeAndre Hopkins.
The Texans do not have an extensive logo history. However, their primary logo reflects the pride and history of the state of Texas.
Houston Texans owner Bob McNair enthusiastically supports the logo. The Houston Texans logo is a Spanish Fighting Bull, it's not a Longhorn, not a cow, not a steer. "We think the spirit of the bull reflects Texas; bold, proud, strong, courageous, independent," said McNair. "Red, white and blue are the colors of our state flag our scheme differs from the state flag in that we're using a darker blue and a lighter red."
Undoubtedly, this logo has quite a bit of staying power.

2006 - Present
McNair unveiled the team logo in 2006, an abstract depiction of a bull’s head, split in such a way to resemble the flag of Texas in red white and blue, including a lone star to stand for the eye, the five points of the star which representing pride, courage, strength, tradition and independence.
