Seahawks Alternate Logo

The Seattle Seahawks have had a long and storied history with their alternate logo. The original design was created in 1976 when the team first entered the NFL as an expansion franchise. It featured a bold blue and green color scheme that represented both the Pacific Northwest's natural beauty and its vibrant culture. This design served for several years until 1996, when it was replaced by an updated version featuring more modern design elements, such as sharp lines and sharper angles, to represent Seattle's progressive attitude towards sports better.

In 2002, the Seahawks unveiled yet another alternate logo featuring their iconic bird head surrounded by four stars representing each of Washington State’s major cities: Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane & Bellevue, respectively. This version has since become one of the most recognizable logos in all professional sports due to its unique combination of traditional symbolism with contemporary aesthetics perfectly captures what makes this region exceptional - strength through unity!

Today’s iteration of this beloved symbol features two distinct versions; one for home games (with navy trim) while away games feature royal blue accents instead – allowing fans from either side to show off their pride no matter where they are watching from!
