Tennessee Oilers Logo and Transitional NFL History
The Tennessee Oilers history began when the team relocated from Houston but hadn’t yet rebranded. During this time, they played in Memphis and later Nashville. Though the name didn’t last, the Oilers logo NFL fans remember is still iconic. Many associate it with grit, tradition, and Southern football roots.
