In one quadrant is the Commanders primary letter "W" logo in white, opposite that are three white stars representing the DC, Maryland, Virginia region all on a burgundy background. The original team's establishment date of the Boston Redskins 1932 is in burgundy on white with the club's nickname wordmark across in white. Outside this seal is a wordmark "WASHINGTON FOOTBALL" arched above with the calendar years in which the franchise had previously won a NFL titles in 1937, 1942, 1982, 1987, 1991 arched and below.
