In our Clash of Logos series, here is the National Football League’s logo tourney. Every NFL team’s current primary logo is represented in a logo bracket challenge. Who has the supreme primary logo in the NFL? Help us find out that supreme NFL primary logo by voting for all available bracket competition. Here are some rules for the brackets head to head match.

  1. Winner is the first to 1000 votes.
  2. Vote count is refreshed every Tuesday in the bracket.
  3. Everyone can vote once a DAY.
  4. Winner moves on to the next round.

Game #1

Denver Broncos – The Broncos radically changed their logo in 1997, a design that the team continues to use to this day. The new logo was unveiled on February 4, 1997. Navy blue replaced royal blue on the team’s color scheme. The current logo is a profile of a white horse’s head with navy blue outline, with an orange mane and navy blue outlines.

Chicago Bears – In 1974, the team decided to keep the same wishbone “C” logo however, the logo changed from all white to a white with an orange border. This logo has remained unchanged ever since. While the orange color in the Chicago Bears logo stands for cheerfulness, happiness, activity and energy, the blue color symbolize excellence and grace of the club. The white color, on the other hand, represents its charm and elegance.

Game #2

Seattle Seahawks – The new logo replaces the Seahawk blue with wolf grey. The Seattle Seahawks logo is comprised of the face of a seahawk with the eyes, beak and the neck artistically illustrating the team’s quest for glory, pride and success. The fierce glare in the eyes of the Seattle Seahawks logo is basically derived from the Egyptian mythology where a falcon enjoyed a superior place in the hieroglyphs.

Cincinnati Bengals – The Cincinnati Bengals wanted to bring the energy of their signature bengal tiger striped helmet into a new team identity. In 2004, a new logo consisting of an orange “B” covered with three black tiger stripes was introduced. The simple “B” covered with black tiger stripes works with the abstract helmet and the existing tiger symbol.

Game #3

San Francisco 49ers – In 2009 San Francisco logo consisted of a stretched oval “SF” logo design that went though a new brighter shade of red.

Tennessee Titans – When the team was renamed the Titans, the club introduced a new logo: A white ring of the circle represents the sun with three stars, similar to that found on the flag of Tennessee containing a large capital “T” with a trail of flames similar to a comet or solar flares.

Miami Dolphins – An aqua and marine-blue dolphin swimming in front of a coral sunburst, shade of coral orange was adjusted for the 2017 season.

Los Angeles Rams – Initials “LA” in blue italics with the letter “A” arched back in blue and yellow to form a ram’s horn.

Game #8

Cleveland Browns – The updated helmet logo is reflective of today’s modern Cleveland, the design honors the past while evolving into the future. The iconic brown and white stripes stand tall over the orange helmet, a new orange color that matches the passion of the Dawg Pound. The new brown face mask represents the strength and toughness of Cleveland.

Arizona Cardinals – In January 2005, the team unveiled its first major changes in a century. The red cardinal head logo was updated to look sleeker and meaner than the previous cardinal head. The beak was changed from gold to yellow, heavier black outlines were added and this bird is significantly more aggressive looking than the previous bird. Numerous fans had called the previous version a “parakeet.”

Game #9

Minnesota Vikings – In 2013, the Vikings tweaked their Norseman logo, which involved updating the shading, altering the shape and base of the horns, thickening the mustache and face, making the gold tones brighter, and shortening the braid. The base of the Norseman’s horns now resembles those on Minnesota’s helmets.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – A red pirate’s flag waving from a silver sword with a white and black skull, two crossed swords, and a football on the flag. The shade of red was darkened for the 2020 season.

Game #10

Atlanta Falcons – The Atlanta Falcons team identity launched a new era for the team in 2003. The logo was redesigned with red and silver accents to depict a more powerful, aggressive falcon, which now more closely resembles the capital letter “F.” The new Falcon logo looks similar, but the Falcon has a swifter, “in flight” look.

Detroit Lions – The new logo features only subtle changes, replacing the black outline around the lion with a silver one and sharpening the image. A fierce leaping blue lion still has the white then silver outline. A flowing mane and fangs as facial features are added.

Los Angeles Chargers – A yellow and light blue arched lightning bolt, navy blue eliminated from previous logo and the angle of the arch bolt has been reduced.

Indianapolis Colts – The Colts logo design is a dark blue horseshoe which has remained almost unaltered throughout the years, features a distinctive blue horseshoe.

Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs logo is a arrowhead design originally sketched by Lamar Hunt on a napkin. Hunt’s sketches, which were done on a napkin on a flight from Dallas to Kansas City, began with an interlocking “KC” inside a circle or an oval. Hunt’s inspiration for the interlocking “KC” design was the “SF” inside of an oval on the San Francisco 49ers helmets. Unlike the 49ers’ logo, Kansas City’s overlapping initials appear inside a white arrowhead instead of an oval and are surrounded by a thick chipped looking black border.

Game #16

New England Patriots – The New England Patriots unveiled a new logo in 2000 which depicts a silver patriot with a red and navy blue striped hat. The 2000 logo is a mirror image of the one designed in 1993, though a few changes have been made, the deepening of the blue shade.

Washington Redskins – The current version of the Washington Redskins logo features a simplified, modernized form of the native American head inside a yellow circle, with two feathers attached to it. This logo is the same logo as the 1972 logo.

Game #17

Jacksonville Jaguars – The Jags new logo is the result of several months of collaboration with the NFL, incorporating specific insight from Jaguars fans in 2012 and in recent years. The new Jaguar head logo was intended to be “fiercer” and more realistic. The new primary logo stays true to the team’s traditional colors, while featuring a “fiercer” Jaguar, “amplifying the powerful characteristics of the cat.”

Game #18

New York Giants – In the 2000 season, an updated stylized blue and red trim lowercase “ny” returned as the primary logo. Controversy surrounded the change because the team remained in New Jersey.

Dallas Cowboys – Jack Eskridge, one of coach Tom Landry’s first hires, redesigned the solid blue logo in 1964 by adding a white border around the blue star, giving it a 3D-effect. It has stood ever since. The updated logo consists of navy blue star with white and navy blue outlines.

Game #22

Buffalo Bills – The standing bison logo was replaced by a blue charging one with a red slanting stripe streaming from its horn. The newer emblem, which is still the primary one used by the franchise, was designed by aerospace designer Stevens Wright in 1974.

Baltimore Ravens – The current version of the Baltimore Ravens logo was unveiled in 1998 and consisted of a purple with black and yellow border raven’s head and the letter “B” which is superimposed on its left side of the raven’s head.

Game #23

Carolina Panthers – The head of the panther in Carolina Panthers logo is black and silver in color, sketched in blue. The emblem depicts that the Panthers are expert hunters and attack their rivals at the final stage. The team changes were designed to give their logo an “aggressive, contemporary look” as well to give it a more three-dimensional feel.

Houston Texans – McNair unveiled the team logo in 2006, an abstract depiction of a bull’s head, split in such a way to resemble the flag of Texas in red white and blue, including a lone star to stand for the eye, the five points of the star which representing pride, courage, strength, tradition and independence.
