Cardinals Primary Logo
The Phoenix Cardinals' primary logo is one of the most recognizable logos in professional sports. It has been around since 1988 and is a symbol of pride for all Cardinals fans worldwide. The logo consists of an interlocking "PC" with a cardinal perched atop it, set against a black background with white trimming.
Graphic designer Tom O'Grady created the original design in 1988, and they wanted to create something unique and memorable for the team's first season as part of Major League Baseball (MLB). Since then, several minor modifications have made it more modern-looking but still retain its classic look. In 2006, the colors were changed from red and yellow to black and white; this change brought out more details on both sides of the bird while also making it easier to read in smaller sizes, such as on hats or t-shirts.
Today, this iconic image continues to be used throughout all aspects related to Arizona's MLB franchise: merchandise like jerseys or mugs featuring its likeness can be found everywhere, from stadiums during games to online stores catering exclusively towards Cardinal fans worldwide! This timeless design not only serves as an homage to their past but also provides hope for their future success - no matter what may come!
