Detroit Lions Alternate Logo

Since 2009 the Lions alternate logo is all about adding the team name to the primary logo. The font style for the blue “LIONS” wordmark from 2009 – 2016 has a very interesting look to it as if a lion had clawed the letters. The two older alternate logos from the ’60s to the ’80s are reminders of the automotive industry, so prevalent in Detroit.
