Dallas Cowboys
Jack Eskridge, one of coach Tom Landry’s first hires, redesigned the solid blue logo in 1964 by adding a white border around the blue star, giving it a 3D effect. It has remained unchanged ever since. The updated logo has a dark navy blue star with white and navy blue outlines. A darker shade of blue.
Cowboys Primary Logo
The Dallas Cowboys' primary logo has a long and storied history. From its inception in 1960, the iconic star logo has become one of the most recognizable symbols in all of the sports. The original design was created by Texas native Tex Schramm, who wanted to create a symbol that would represent both the state of Texas and America’s team - The Dallas Cowboys.
Today, this classic logo is still used proudly by fans across America for everything from t-shirts to hats and flags; making it one of the sport’s most enduring logos ever created! With such a rich history behind this beloved symbol, there will be no doubt that generations yet unborn will continue enjoying its timeless appeal for many years to come!
