Bobcats Alternate Logo
The Charlotte Bobcats have a long and exciting history regarding alternate logos. The team was founded in 2004, and its first logo featured an orange basketball with a black outline, along with the words “Charlotte Bobcats” written across it. This logo was used until 2011, when they unveiled their new primary logo featuring an angry bobcat face wearing headphones.
In 2012, the Charlotte Bobcats introduced their first-ever alternate logo, featuring two hands coming together in front of a blue basketball outlined by white stars representing North Carolina's state flag. This design has become synonymous with the team as fans recognize this unique look whenever they see it on merchandise or apparel worn by players at games.
Since then, there have been several more changes to both primary and alternate logos for the Charlotte Bobcats, including changing colors from orange to teal in 2014 and introducing updated versions of their original designs, such as adding stripes around each lettering for "Bobcats" or altering some details like shading effects on some aspects within images like eyes or claws from bobcat faces, etc... All these changes over time show how much care goes into branding for any professional sports franchise - even one that is relatively young compared others!
