Bobcats Primary Logo

The Charlotte Bobcats are an American professional basketball team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The franchise was founded in 2004 and is currently a member of the Eastern Conference's Southeast Division. Throughout its history, the team has had several different logos representing its brand identity.

The original logo used by the Bobcats when they first entered into existence was a blue cat with yellow eyes and white whiskers set against a black background. This design featured two curved stripes on either side, which were meant to represent speed and agility, attributes essential for any successful basketball player or team. This logo also included “Bobcats” in bold letters and four stars underneath, representing each division within the NBA at that time (Atlantic, Central, Midwest & Pacific).

In 2012 however, there was another change made to their primary logo where instead of featuring just one cat head like before, there were now two heads facing each other with both having green eyes set against an orange background along with some additional features such as three stars above them symbolizing strength while still keeping “Bobcats” written across them too but this time using italics font typeface instead of bold ones from before giving off more modern look overall compared previous version making sure everyone knows who they're rooting for!
