Houston Rockets
A red-with-yellow-drop-shadows “R” in the shape of a rocket ship blasting off through a basketball hoop inspired by the rings around a planet. The Rockets first used this logo in various capacities as far back as 2003-04, with different drop shadow colors used over the subsequent two decades.

The R-Rocket ship logo, now recolored in yellow instead of silver or black, is placed within a triangular, mission-inspired badge, with the wordmark "HOUSTON ROCKETS" above in white and two stars on either side representing the franchise's time in both San Diego and Houston. The red triangle is outlined in yellow and black trim.
Returned to its original red-and-yellow color scheme, used from 1971 through 1995.

An astronaut in a full red-and-yellow spacesuit dunking a basketball, presumably in zero gravity. The astronaut has the Rockets' "R" logo in yellow on the back of its suit, two stars on its face shield, and a subtle "H" on the side of the helmet.
Known as the "Dunkstonaut" logo.
